the RED CRUSH experience! Great News! The planning of our 20 year reunion has begun. David Brown has enthusiastically taken the lead on the organization, and the pulling together of the respective planning committee for the event. If you would like to help out, shoot David an email and get your butt on the planning committee! The more help we can get, the more of a success this bash will be. |
IT'S ROLLING, FOLKS!! OK, here's the latest. July-ish is the time frame being looked at. We're also bringing in the pros. David has been in contact with the the same folks that produced the 10 year reunion. In fact, they do many of the Mt. Pleasant Reunions. They apparently work with many sources, including Classmates.com in an attempt to find everyone. We really don't want to leave anyone out. They have the tools to make it happen, so were going to step out of their way and let them run with it. INTERIM WEB SITE Well ... whaddya think? This site should be the latest source of information until the pros put up the official site. We think it looks kind of cool, but there may be a little bias there.We might keep the site up just for the heck of it. Maybe for posting pictures of the reunion, or just for anything Cardinal '82-esk from here on in. I'm pretty tight with the owner of emperormau.com, so we'll see how it goes ;-) ALUMNI REGISTRATION Our registration efforts to date can be nothing but a help at this point. We highly encourage each of you to go to the Mt. Pleasant Web site and register as an Alumni. The URL for the site is: http://mpnet.esuhsd.org/ Apparently this would be a great help in compiling a mailing list. If your parents no longer live where they lived when you were in school, if you never received an invitation to the 10 year reunion, or if you moved since the 10 year reunion, It is very important that you register. Registering is easy, it just takes a couple of minutes and it doesn't cost anything. However, if that proves to be a painful experience, but it shouldn't, feel free to email your addresses, both email and postal, directly to David Brown at elijah4@ix.netcom.com Either way will work. We need to find out how many of you want to attend this event before we can start planning the details. In other words, the more of you that want to attend the bigger and better this event is going to be. If any of you know of classmates that are not familiar with cyberspace and the world of internet and email, please pass this information to them. We wouldn't want anyone to miss out on the party. NO GOOOSHY STUFF!! Hey, I don't know how all of you feel, but I sure would love to see you again ... wait a minute ... do I owe any of you money? ... Just kidding (hmmm ...). Just think, 20 years. PUT COOL STUFF HERE Look here in the future for items of interest to the class of 1982. Maybe stuff like a featured Alumni, you know a "where are they now" type of thing, coming events etc. Hey, it's your site. Drop us a line and let us know what you would like this to be.
Register as an Alumni on the official Mt. Pleasant Web site at the URL below. Once there, feel free to peruse the sight. The students have done a good job building a very attractive and well functioning Web site. It's also a good chance to see what our teachers look like today.
