With the state of the economy during the recession, and the nature of corporate downsizing, many of the large corporations placed a great deal of faith in quality workshops and team building. With a smaller employee base, it became much more important that people come together and work as a team. Employees had to produce at a comparative level with the larger work forces of days gone by in order for the corporations to remain profitable. Team Day was created as a promotion and celebration of a successful team program at Rockwell (and later Boeing via merger). With this logo I wanted to depict the team concept by suggesting the team work it took to put Team Day together.
